We recommend homestay as the best way to experience British life and culture and to practise your English. The school is in a residential area with over 300 host families providing good quality accommodation.

The standards of homestay accommodation are very high. The families are kind and friendly, the houses and flats are clean and warm and the majority of families are less than 20 minutes walk from the school.

We want you to feel at home there, so if there are any problems you can always talk to the Accommodation Officer. You will have a single room and there is generally a maximum of 3 students per family and no-one will speak the same language as you. We want you to speak English as much as possible outside the school.

Your bedroom will have:
- a comfortable bed - at least standard size;
- a wardrobe and a chest of drawers;
- a mirror;
- a table, chair and lamp for studying.

The room will be cleaned at least once a week, and you will have fresh bed linen and towels every week. You will receive breakfast and an evening meal every day.

General Information

Those students who for any reason (i.e. flight arrival) need their accommodation to be available before or after the above mentioned dates will be charged for any extra days needed.
The cost of an entire week will be charged to those students requiring 4 or more additional days of accommodation. We do our best but we cannot guarantee the availability of extra days of accommodation due to possible unavailability of such accommodation.

Note: All information about the place and the time to pick up the keys will be sent to each student by email (or fax, if required) before their arrival. In case of residence or shared flat, the students should contact our central office in order to be informed about the place and the time to pick up the keys for the accommodation.

Each student is required to respect all rules and regulations set by families, residences and shared flat administration. Should there be any damage to the premises the student must pay for the corresponding amount.
